 I would like to welcome you to the website of the Maes Manor Hotel. Our beautiful Georgian Country Hotel is set in nine acres of landscaped gardens. We are situated in the heart of the Welsh Valleys and easily accessible from both Cardiff and Newport. The Maes Manor is within minutes of the small town of Blackwood, which has a good variety shops and facilities including golf, shooting, fishing, cycling as well as many breathtaking walks in the surrounding countryside and within easy driving distance of the spectacular Brecon Beacons. Further afield there are a huge variety of interesting places to visit including Blaenavon Ironworks (The setting for the BBC series Coal House), Caerphilly Castle, and Llancaiach Fawr. The Maes Manor Hotel has 28 refurbished en suite bedrooms. Our Seasons restaurant can accommodate 90 coverts with private dinning facilities available. Our Islwyn suite offers one of the largest dinning facilities in the area, which accommodates up to 220 guests for events such as Weddings and Dinner Dances.
